Reading Sample - WALT reflect and improve on our reading.
BTN - WALT become smarter and safer researchers using the internet.
Reading Around the World - 4x15 or 2x30 minutes per week. WALT navigate around the world while we are reading.
Narrative Writing - WALT plan a narrative. Continue to plan your narrative using the structure following the seminar. Get ready to write in week 3 and 4.

Inquiry
Wordle - WALT express how we feel about our space.
Brainstorm some words individually or in a group about the learning centre. Think about how you feel, words to describe it, colours, shapes, smells, experience or anything else you can think of.
Brainstorm your words on to a Pages document (in case Wordle crashes) and copy and paste them into Wordle. When you have finished with your design put this in to Reflective Me with a reflection.
Success Criteria
1. A variety of words
2. Correct punctuation and spelling
3. At least 50 different words.
4. Effective use of colours and fonts.
5. Reflection in iWeb covering reflection poster criteria (see posters on wall).

Learning Centre Activity - WALT appreciate and understand our new learning space and inform others.
Create a virtual tour of the Learning Centre to show someone who hasn't visited (ie. parents, brother, sister, visitors). Use any of the applications on the Mac to present your tour (Keynote, movie, pages, comiclife, etc.)
Success Criteria
1. Include all the spaces in the Learning Centre.
2. Explanation of how you could use each space.
3. Visual of each space.
4. State your intended audience.
5. Correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Team Building - WALT work as a team effectively.
Blog answers to the following in Reflective me.
1. Why is it important to be a team player in the Learning Centre?
2. How do I work in a team?
3. What skills do I need to develop to work in a team?
4. What are some of the challenges I face?
5. What do I learn from working with others?
6. Where else can I apply these skills?
7. My rating out of ten and why?

Habits of Mind - WALT explore and understand the Habits of Mind.
